collect health and travel history information from staff, students & parents in the 14 days prior to attending school for the first time.
allocate all spaces to allow social distancing of not less than 1 meter between person with clear signage.
maintain consistent disinfecting procedures across the school.
conduct temperature screening at the school entrance and perform temperature checks of all persons coming onto campus.
ensure sufficient hand washing stations and/or alcohol-based hand rubs are available at the school entrance, classrooms, inside and around the campus facilities.
promote understanding coronavirus disease (COVID-19), including its symptoms, complications and transmissibility (etc.) using a variety of methods
organize timetables to prevent large numbers of children mixing, and apply staggering arrivals and finishing times and recess time if necessary.
Every School Day
Parents / carers must check their child’s temperature before leaving home. If the child has a temperature of 37.5 or above, they must not come to school.
Everyone must be screened for fever at the school entrance. Should they have a temperature of 37.5 degree Celsius or more and/or displaying signs of respiratory symptoms they will not be permitted to enter the school premises.
All persons entering the school must wear a face covering at all times.
CMMIS will ensure good ventilation airflow in the classrooms.
CMMIS will increase the frequency of cleaning of all areas at the end of each day. Personal toys and items not relating to school are prohibited.
CMMIS will provide safe drinking water facilities.
There will be no after school activities, clubs, extra tutorials or lessons until further notice.
There will be no school events until further notice.
Teaching staff will remind children to wash hands after using materials in class.
All persons entering school should possess their own water bottle to minimize spread of infection.
If a confirmed case of COVID-19 reported in the school community, CMMIS will notify public health officials immediately.
Persons at CMMIS will not spend more than 2 hours at a time in air conditioned environments.
The decision to send children to school is at the sole discretion of parents / legal guardian.
CMMIS must ensure all students are collected promptly at the end of school day.
CMMIS will establish a dedicated COVID-19 response team to evaluate the implementation of these measures and to report to the school director.
