Our Story

It all began with one teacher’s passion for Montessori education. Founded in 2010 in the serene village of Nong Kwai, Chiang Mai Montessori became the first Montessori school in Northern Thailand. The school grew naturally as families sought an alternative for their children.

Our Founder

Khru Aer moved to London to pursue her passion for early childhood education, where she earned her Montessori credentials. She later returned to Chiang Mai to turn her dream into reality: building a school that nurtures children in her family’s village.

Our Mission

Our Passion is to guide and empower each child to their own independence.
